Reporting to the Project Manager, with line responsibility to the Company Commercial Manager, the Project Commercial Manager is responsible for the proper overall commercial management and control of the Project. Meeting or improving defined targets and commercial objectives, he / she must maintain and develop sustainable relationship’s both internally and externally. Candidates must have detailed commercial and legal knowledge and understanding of all forms of contract and contract law, providing contractual advice to the project team, and must also be well versed on procurement and supply chain procedures.
He / she will be responsible for all matters from tender validation to managing costs, identifying and managing risks, preparation of monthly valuations and cost reports, formalisation and pursuit of variations, to preparation and agreement of Final Account. An appropriate Quantity Surveying qualification is a requirement, ideally with Institute membership.
Remuneration Packages will reflect the importance and status of the positions.
While the preference is for a permanent appointment, candidates on a contract basis will also be considered. |
