Job Description
The Role: Site Manager (Civils)
Candidates should have prior experience on civils projects with main contractors in Ireland or overseas. Candidates with experience working on major construction and engineering projects, earthworks, structures, drainage, or marine works are highly regarded. Candidates will be technically competent, good team players with the drive to succeed within a main contracting environment.
Reports to Construction Manager
Functional Guidance from: Project Manager
Position purpose
To achieve optimum production and cost outcomes through the effective utilisation of plant, direct labour and subcontractors in a healthy and safe work environment.
Safety, Health + Environment Management
Contribute towards a culture of "Safety and Health above all else" and environmental responsibility
Project Delivery
Contribute to the delivery of project on time and within budget
Quality / Standards
Ensure project standards and quality are achieved
Planning and Scheduling
Develop and deliver against project plan
Client Focus
Ensure relevant stakeholders' requirements are met by building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships,
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Occupational health + safety for supervisors course
* Senior first aid certificate
* Environmental awareness
Experience:
* Experience within a similar position

Legislative Requirements
* Relevant construction induction certification
Package
Basic salary: ranges from E100K pa to E120K pa depending upon experience.
Site allowance: 35-40% of Basic salary
Superannuation (pension) contribution
Total package: E140K - E170K
Rosters in the bush are generally 21 days onsite followed by 7 days R + R
