Our Client the world's leading contractor company has a vacancy for a Project QA/QC Manager (project site based) in charge of the project quality department.
QUALIFICATIONS required:-
BSc Degree, Civil Engineering.
Additional qualifications and training pertaining to Quality Management is considered essential.
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:-
Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction QA/QC with at least 10 years experience in a hands on quality or position in the heavy civil contracting industry with preference in high quality building construction work.
The candidate should have proven experience in the following fields:
Monitoring project QA/QC activities during the Construction Phase.
Setting up and monitoring quality systems including Quality Control Procedures and Plans for civil construction projects
Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers/ Inspectors on site including a Site Civil Materials Testing Laboratory
Perform internal quality audits
Handle all quality issues with project management
The right candidate must also have the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Project. In addition, the candidate must possess good planning, presentation and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities and the ability to achieve results through motivation and team working.
The position also involves setting up and providing quality training for the project personnel.
This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
