Project Manager - Algeria Job Summary:Fluent French speaker required to oversee the completion of a Desalination Plant contract in Algeria.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and the Managing Director the candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the project on time and within budget.
Project Manager Algeria – Main Duties
Overall Project management and control
Ensure all contractual issues are addressed in a professional and timely manner
Maintain good working relationships with Client/Consultant
Effective management of Sub-Contractors
Monitor and coordinate design issues in conjunction with the design office
Monitor and control all in-territory Contract expenditure
Resolve all problems in the most effective way
Reporting/notification of relevant issues/problems to Head Office
Implementation and compliance with Company policies including health, safety, QA etc.
Project Management - Selection Criteria
Academic qualification required Bsc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
French language skills – written and spoken
International construction experience required
Working knowledge of Fidic contracts
Computer literacy and administrative skills
Preference given to candidates with knowledge of water treatment process
Candidate must be confident, assertive and have excellent attention to detail
Flexibility to work in all conditions
Package Available
Competitive salary and ex-patriate package which includes accommodation up to 42 calendar days’ leave per annum and requires flexibility within working week.
