The core purpose of the job is to:
Manage mechanical serrvices projects within the operations division ensuring compliance with the companies objectives and strategy
Plan, implement and document the execution of specific projects ensuring compliance with laid down specification, approved drawings within approved capital expenditures
Provide special engineering skills and services to the projects group
Areas of responsibility:
Develop and execute projects to achieve agreed functional outcomes
Provide management of the operations division project team ensuring adequate resources, skills and experience are available to meet project demands
Manage the projects group H&S activities in accordance with the company policy
Manage consultants, suppliers, contractors and internal customers to ensure objectives are met
Co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company quality system, standard quality procedures and engineering specifications
Qualifications/experience:
Degree in mechanical engineering
5 years experience in project management, preferably in food/dairy industry
